Tuffy Partner Portal for electricians
For electricians who work in homes, businesses or both. The portal does the work from the first lead to the estimate, then tracks each job until it is paid: your invoicing and payments stay in the tools you use today. And send Tuffy what your clients need beyond the electrical work.
What electricians use most
- A pipeline built for jobs. Each job moves through Lead in, Contacted, Walkthrough scheduled, Estimate sent, Follow-up, Deposit / materials invoiced, Job scheduled, Job in progress, Job complete and Paid. Any step can be skipped, so an emergency call can go straight to Job scheduled. Mark each job Residential or Commercial, and show either one.
- Estimates. Create an estimate from the job, line by line: labor and materials, quantity and price, with your deposit terms (such as half up front, the balance on completion). Copy for QuickBooks puts the lines into your invoice; invoicing and payments stay in your own tools.
- Paste a lead. Copy a lead from an email or a text, from a lead service or a person, and paste it in. The portal reads the name, phone, email, address and what they need, you check every field, and one save adds the account, the contact and a job with the next step "Reply to the lead" due today. The pasted text is not kept.
- Smart templates for every step. Ready-made messages you can change: a reply to a new lead, a walkthrough confirmation, an estimate follow-up, a deposit and materials note, a job scheduled notice, a job complete note with a review request, a friendly payment reminder and an electrical safety check reminder. Each one fills itself in with the customer's name, address and your own name and company, ready to paste into a text or an email. There are checklists for the walkthrough and for closing out a job too.
- Stage actions. When a job moves into a stage, the portal can set its next step, hand it to a teammate, email your team and offer the message that goes with that step.
- Send an RFQ for what your clients need beyond your trade. Internet and networking, phones, security cameras and access control, energy and more. A Tuffy advisor picks up to 3 vetted providers for each RFQ, or, in most categories, you name the providers you prefer, and the proposals come straight to you. Your own work (panel upgrades, EV chargers, lighting, service calls and the rest of your electrical work) stays in your pipeline and is never sent as an RFQ.
- Business cards. Back from a trade show or a networking event? Take one photo of up to 10 cards, and each comes back filled in as a new customer, or as a contact at a customer you already have, for you to check before it is saved.
- A map and Field seats. See your customers on a map and plan a day of visits, and give your technicians Field seats to send what they see on site.
Office work follows every job. In a 2026 Powered Now survey of UK tradespeople, reported by Installer Show, admin took an average of 7 hours a week. Paste a lead and Business cards fill in a new customer for you, and Smart templates write the messages you send at every step.Source: Installer Show, May 19, 2026
Your customers stay your customers
Your customers stay your customers. Tuffy Communications sees a customer’s contact information only when you send us a Request for Quote (RFQ) for them, and never contacts them directly unless you ask us to.
